Sikafloor® Marine-100is a 1-component lightweight self-levelling mortar based on polymer modified cement. Sikafloor® Marine-100 is tested according to FTP Code system and approved according to the IMO Marine Equipment Directives

Applications
Sikafloor® Marine-100 is applied on interior decks, to level the surface prior to the application of deck finishing materials such as: carpets, tiles, parquet, rubber and vinyl. It is suitable for application in dry and wet accommodation areas exept for galleys.This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Test with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

- Surface PreparationFor levelling applications, the surface has to be clean, free from dust, grease, oils and other substances, which may impair adhesion. Rust has to be removed with a steel brush or other appropriate means, followed by vacuum cleaning. The surface has to be primed with Sikafloor® Marine Primer C using a long hair roller. After drying of the Sikafloor® Marine Primer C, Sikafloor® Marine-100 may be applied. Sikafloor® Marine-100 applications on aluminum or zinc rich shop primer coated decks, require a tie coat of SikaCor® ZP Primer or another suitable tie coat prior the priming step with Sikafloor® Marine Primer C.
- ApplicationApply the mortar with a steel board or a straight edge. Sikafloor® Marine-100 can also be applied by pinrake. Sikafloor® Marine-100 has to be applied within 20 minutes after mixing. At temperatures above 30 °C the open time will be reduced to 10 minutes or less. For advice on selecting and setting up a suitable pump system, contact the System Engineering Department of Sika Industry.
- RemovalExcess material can best be removed before curing with a trowel wipe or water.Fresh Sikafloor® Marine-100 may be removed from tools and equipment with water. Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically. Exposed hands and skin shall be washed immediately with water. Use a suitable skin protection hand cream.
- Application LimitsFor applications on slooping surfaces > 1 % contact the Technical Department of Sika Industry.
